Task Team meeting on TWS architecture held in Rome on 15-16 October.

Interim Operations Users Guide under preparation for basin-wide tsunami watch communication tests during 2010.

The ad hoc Task Team on the Regional TWS architecture met in Rome, at the Italian Department of Civil Protection, on 15-16 November. 19 people and 2 observers from 8 countries attended the meeting.

The Task Team is finalizing an Interim Operations Users Guide that will support the implementation of basin-wide tsunami watch communication tests involving the candidate Regional Tsunami Watch Centres (France, Greece, Italy, Portugal and Turkey), the backup centre (Germany) and the national Tsunami Warning Focal Points.
The Interim Operations Users Guide to be submitted to ICG/NEAMTWS will be available soon on the IOC website.

Task Teams meetings held in Paris on 18-19 March.

The NEAMTWS Tasks Team on Regional TWS Architecture met in Paris on 18-19 March 2010, followed by a meeting of the Task Team on Communication Test Exercises on 19 March.

ICG/NEAMTWS-VI held in Istanbul
The session launches tsunami communication test exercises and establishes a Tsunami Information Centre for the North-eastern Atlantic and the Mediterranean.
